Work Experience

Scott Haley from Redruth is reading Radio Production at university in Warrington.

As part of his course he is required to spend five weeks in a work placement and was thrilled when he was offered the chance to develop his skills at Penwith Radio.

He says: “If I went to other stations I wouldn’t have this opportunity to present my own live show. I would probably be making coffee. Here I can express myself.”

Now, during his summer break, Scott can be heard on Saturdays between 4pm and 5pm with Scott’s Sports Show.
